Port Credit - Mississauga's Village on the Lake

Welcome to Port Credit. We are Mississauga's Village on the Lake, a vibrant community with a small town feel. We are located at the mouth of the Credit River on the north shore of Lake Ontario, 20 minutes west of Toronto.

Port Credit is a unique part of Ontario. Recently, a revitalization project has made "the Village on the Lake" even prettier than it was before. Among the new attractions are extensive parks, 2 new marinas and a section of the Waterfront Trail.

The Waterfront Trail is a 325-kilometre-long paved path connecting Trenton to Burlington along Lake Ontario's shores. A 15-kilometre-long section runs through Port Credit and will lead you through miles of streets and parks. Take a stroll, bike ride or in-line skate through woodlots, neighborhoods and beaches.

The Port Credit Harbour, recently redeveloped, is exciting. Its new facilities and beautiful landscaping invite visitors to look out over the lake, go for a stroll, watch the boats, cast a fishing line or just sit and relax.

For boaters, the marina offers transient docking for 63 boats, from mid-May to mid-September. Slips can be rented by the hour, day or even week! The docks feature hydro and water and can accommodate boats up to 45 feet in length.

But these are just a few of the things to see and do in Port Credit. Why not visit us and see for yourselves?
