Port Credit Art Walk
 May 25- June 3

The village of Port Credit becomes an art gallery from Friday, May 25th to Sunday June 3rd.  A variety of media including oils, pastels, sculpture, photography, watercolours and more will be showcased at 26 locations.  Stroll from shop to shop and enjoy the small town charm while taking in the beauty of the work. 

An Artist's Reception will be held on the evening of May 25th.   Meet the artists and enjoy the hospitality of their hosts.

Dragon Boat Challenge

On Sunday June 10th, 2007 ancient Chinese tradition meets Mississauga Credit Valley River. The Mississauga Canoe Club’s Annual Community Dragon Boat Challenge is a combination of excitement and competition of racing, community spirit and charitable fundraising. Funds raised go to the Betty Wallace Women’s Centre in support of breast cancer.

Heritage Garden Tour

The Cloverleaf Garden Club's 42nd Garden Tour takes place this year as a walking tour in the Heritage Conservation District of Port Credit. Over 15 small and medium-sized gardens have been selected to highlight a variety of styles and collections of trees, shrubs and perennials, with a good selection of native and rare plants.

Several special events are planned along the 9 blocks of the tour, including a Floral Design Show, Silent Auction, Heritage Quilt Show, Heritage presentations and an Open House at the Mississauga Masonic Lodge. Other events are being finalized to make this an exciting day out in the Old Village.

The tour is self-guided, costs $12.00 per person, with tickets available from early May from local merchants and at a booth in the Library parking lot on the morning of the tour. More details are available on the
