The objective of the event is to raise money and awareness of The Mississauga Waterfront Festival’s “Sponsor a Child Program”. Support will enable sponsorship of more children from local shelters and helping agencies clients such as Boys and Girls Club, Our Place Peel, Interim Place, Community Living and Foster Parents Plan, as well as schools and church organizations with outreach programs to attend the festival totally free of charge! Since 1997, over 60,000 children and their families have been welcomed to the festival through this program.
Since 2004, the event has raised over $315,000 allowing more children to enjoy a free weekend of popular entertainment, exciting attractions, delicious food, carnival rides and enough smiles and memories to last a lifetime. For many, it’s the highlight of their summer; for some, their only summer holiday.
You will not want to miss the Full Circle evening and we hope you and/or your firm will consider attending, becoming a sponsor, or donating a Silent Auction prize. Attached for your consideration is the Sponsorship Package. Please contact us for further information on the many ways you can participate.
