On Saturday, October 3rd, The Port Credit BIA held a beautiful ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the naming of the Lighthouse landing to “The Queen Bea Lookout” after our dedicated and fearless General Manager, Beatrice.

Many were in attendance to celebrate Beatrice’s 20 years of service to the Port Credit community including the entire Port Credit Board of Directors, Stephen Dasko our Ward 1 Councillor, Mayor Crombie, as well as close friends and family .

Special thank you to Mayor Crombie, Stephen Dasko, Karen Priest, our Chair Jake Pedler and Port Credit alumni Ellen Timms for taking the stage to honor Queen Bea and share lovely messages and fond memories from their times together. The day was filled with lots of love and appreciation for our Queen Bea and to further honor Beatrice, the Lighthouse color was changed to purple.
