PCBIA Coffee & Community: Understanding Your BIA Levy

The Port Credit BIA invites you to a special Coffee & Community Network Meeting: Understanding YOUR BIA Levy on September 4, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.

As a Port Credit BIA business community member, you pay a BIA levy on your annual property bill. Have you ever wondered how the levy is calculated?

This calculation can seem complex or is unknown to many of our businesses. Port Credit BIA has invited MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) and the City of Mississauga to help inform our business community of the various factors and calculations involved in BIA levies and how they contribute to the Port Credit BIA annual budget.

We will also cover how businesses can request re-assessments if they feel a re-assessment is required.

This session will be followed by PCBIA Coffee & Community Network: Port Credit Budget 2026 on October 2, 2025 which will provide our Port Credit business community an opportunity to share their ideas on the 2026 budget!

PCBIA Coffee & Community Network meetings are free for PCBIA Business Community and Associate Members. Non-members and guests will be charged $5.00 at the door.
