Join Historian Richard Collins on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. to learn more about The Legend of "Nahnee", meet at the at the Farmers Market (at Port Credit library).
Nahne-bah-we-quay urged the queen to let her indigenous community keep their homes, but it was along the Credit River that young “Nahnee” learned to respect the land she would fight so hard to protect.
